PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
Our Terms and Conditions

Please read our terms before booking a class or using your parent account. They explain how bookings, payments, cancellations and attendance work.

Welcome to Entertainia Theatre School. By enrolling in classes, workshops, examinations, performances, or events, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

1. Fees & Payments

  • All classes are booked and paid for on a termly basis unless otherwise stated.
  • Payment must be made by the stated deadline to secure your child’s place.
  • Places may be offered to another student if payment has not been received on time.
  • Fees are non-transferable between students or terms.

2. Refund Policy

  • No refunds will be given for missed classes, holidays, appointments, or any absence from a booked session.
  • Fees secure your child’s place within the class and contribute towards ongoing staffing, venue hire, and running costs regardless of attendance.
  • As classes are booked termly, refunds cannot be provided because teacher fees, studio hire, and associated costs are committed in advance.
  • Refunds or credits will only be issued if a class is cancelled by Entertainia Theatre School due to:
    • Teacher illness
    • Emergency teacher cancellation
    • Unforeseen circumstances where no suitable cover teacher can be arranged
  • Where possible, cancelled classes may be rescheduled instead of refunded.

3. Attendance

  • Students are encouraged to attend regularly to support their progress and performance work.
  • If a student is unable to attend a class, parents/carers should notify the school as soon as possible.

4. Uniform & Appearance

  • Students must attend classes in the correct uniform, footwear, and with hair presented appropriately for their class.
  • Jewellery should not be worn for safety reasons unless agreed in advance.

5. Examinations & Performances

  • Examination entries and performance opportunities are offered at the teacher’s discretion.
  • Additional fees may apply for exams, costumes, competitions, performances, or workshops.
  • Once exam or performance fees have been submitted, they are non-refundable unless the organiser cancels the event.

6. Health & Safety

  • Parents/carers must inform Entertainia Theatre School of any medical conditions, injuries, allergies, or additional needs that may affect participation.
  • Students should not attend if unwell or suffering from a contagious illness.
  • Participation in dance, Acro, ballet, commercial and theatre classes is undertaken at the student’s own risk. All reasonable care will be taken to ensure safety, but students attend at their own risk and no liability can be accepted if students do not follow instructions.

7. Photography & Video

  • From time to time, photographs or videos may be taken during classes, performances, or events for promotional and social media purposes.
  • Parents/carers should notify Entertainia Theatre School in writing if they do not wish their child to appear in photographs or videos.

8. Behaviour

  • Respectful behaviour is expected from all students and parents/carers.
  • Disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate behaviour may result in a student being asked to leave a class or, in serious cases, removal from the school.

9. Class Changes & Cancellations

  • Entertainia Theatre School reserves the right to change class times, teachers, venues, or timetables where necessary.
  • In rare circumstances, classes may need to be cancelled or combined.

10. Additional Classes & Events

  • From time to time, additional rehearsals, workshops, competitions, performances, or event preparation classes may be scheduled outside of regular class times.
  • Parents/carers will be given notice wherever possible regarding any additional sessions or commitments.
  • Participation in some events may require extra rehearsals to ensure performance standards and student safety.

11. Collection of Children

  • Parents/carers are responsible for ensuring children are collected promptly at the end of class.
  • Entertainia Theatre School cannot accept responsibility for students outside of their scheduled class times.

12. Personal Belongings

  • Licensed chaperones will be allocated for performances, shows, competitions, and events where required.
  • Parents/carers may request to read the school’s Safeguarding Policy at any time.
  • Any safeguarding concerns should be reported directly to the school management.

14. Agreement

  • Enrolment and payment confirm acceptance of these terms and conditions.
